Are You Dominating? Join Our Crew
In our effort to provide the very best information to the World of Warcraft community we are always looking for truly Dominating writers to join our team. If you think you have what it takes to be a writer or contributor to DYS we want to hear from you.
We have dozens of pages that need filling with the latest information, and keeping that information up-to-date as the game changes. While funny and just plain information articles are always good reading, we have a need for people with class specific knowledge to take on the task of being one of our resident experts. We’ll even build the templates and do most of the work. All you have to do is input your class Domination so that all of our readers can follow your lead.
Not everyone can cut the mustard, but we do our very best to train people who really want to learn something about the realm of online publishing exactly what it takes. If you have the knowledge, Lawbringer can walk you through the steps of getting published at DYS. We know you’re out there, and it’s really simple to get started. Let Law know what class you are interested in contributing for, and he will set you up with a project. Right now we’re looking for folks who are experts on builds and class play. So if you know all the ins and outs of your class, it’s high time the rest of WoW knew just how good you are.
Just a few more notes about writing for DYS you need to know before you decide to join us:
You will be asked to provide screenshots, links, and references for your work. So you’ll need to know something about working with pictures and links, but don’t worry, it’s not too tough. The more work you put into your contributions, the more valuable it will be. Just keep in mind the kinds of things you like to read about WoW and put those elements into your own posts.
If you’re not comfortable building an article or post from scratch, we can set it up in a form where you can just fill in the blanks with comments and suggestions.
Not everything submitted will be accepted, but we will give you editorial comments to help you improve the piece in specific, or your articles in general to make sure that you learn exactly how to have everything you write make it onto the site.
Remember, we are far more interested in Class builds and Class specific expertise than anything else. Your best bet is becoming one of our experts by demonstrating your in-depth knowledge of a Class. Editorial articles and funny – we’ve got that covered, what we need is a few good Class experts, so impress us.
There may even be some compensation. Most of our writers are volunteers, but we have a few folks we just can’t live without. You won’t get rich doing it, but you can definitely end up making enough to pay for your play time.
All materials submitted to Dominate Your Server become the property of Dominate Your Server and all copyrights are assigned to Dominate Your Server for the purposes of reprint and or conjunctive efforts in development of writing projects where as writing is definable as any data and or information recorded on any current or future recognized medium. We retain the non-exclusive rights to publish all such works in any format; however, all individual contributors retain the right to submit their work for publication elsewhere and you have our permission to do so with prior written consent from Dominate Your Server.

Is this casting call still going on? I’ve always wanted to do some well researched priest pieces or a casual column.
The thing that is a little funny is that everything you need to know is in the article above. Yes, we are always looking at writers. No there are no requirements as to location or age; although younger folks will need a little help getting a paypal account to get paid.
Vellessard, there are so many things to write about there is no way we’ve covered it all.

I want to make a article or two on the best bank alt costumes because I hate how everyone runs around with their Tuxedo and Dress Shoes but never seems to stand out with about twenty other ppl jsut like them hanging around the mailbox. I am Allaince in Burning Blade and my bank alt stands out more than all others. I have several costumes one of which is the Unadorned you covered which makes me look like a Blood Elf. I must add though Taurens were probably the worst to show an example of them on. It looks best on Humans or Blood Elves from what I’ve seen. So you think my article is worth a look I’m considering trying to amke a series of bank alt costumes. If your gonna dominate something DOMINATE THE BANK ALTS. It is actually easy if you know where to look.
Just woundering if people would be interested in some pvp articles and maybe someone can contact me on khazgoroth if your above 2000 rating?, im currently only in 1400’s but i had 2000 last season. Currently using the deep prot and holy spec- so if u wonna chat about that feel free, also if people have articles that we could combine to cover all class’s and each arena, maybe even ways to counter another combo?
Just wondering if the “forgotten” priest spec has been addressed thus far before I sit down to begin my master piece. I see healing priests but no mention of the much more fun, and since the replenishment invention, sometimes forgotten priest spec of shadow. Let me know if you can. Thanks
Sorry guy not shore where to post this so just a question: why r unholy DK tank so over looked in todays raiding guilds? I have been a unholy tank for 1-2 months now after starting one 2 months ago and lvled to 80 in 7days but my guild will only use blood or frost spec tanks. With the unholies damage bonus from ebon for ranged dps (casters) which are almost all now except for 1-2 hunters in a raid for range and the anti-magic shield and the aoe agro it can generate i would think it would be at the top of the list for must haves. I have done a little reseach on the top wow guild on EU and US and the dk spec i see is unholy for dps and tanks. The main reasons i get for not using unholy spec is that the damage unholies take is to eratic for the healers to heal through, or that spec is no good because every one uses frost or blood for survivability or self healing. Ok thats fine but if u have 4 mages in ur group doing 4k dps which is not high end and u add to that 13% bonus damage from ebon on each mob that has it, its about 520 bonus dps per sec i think for each so each is now doing 4520dps thats 2080bonus dps for just 4 mages then u have the shadow priests , shaman, moonkins and so on. Can u have a look into it please so i can say to my guild HAY look at this website and then u tell me not to go unholy spec for my tank u tunnel vision player. Ok i wont say that to them but u can see what i mean lol

as an unholy DK i hear feal your pain i mean lets look at it with logic a DK is created by giving life to a pile of bones and corrupting the sole so ergo an unholy DK must be the best spec anything else dont make sence an unholy DK can do so much more than the other 2 specs but alass blizz made raf a dps race its now just in hit out gone is the art of game play any fool with the right gear and a bit of luck can do good dps that said there is still a lot of hate for DKs out there mainly from naf warriors moaning about DK dps so a DK tank has no chance lol as for the future as i keep saying when cat is here unholy DKS your all fear have fun Anibow
Oh on a side topic i am looking at the mod OPPORTUNITY for jewel cutters. You just scan the Auction House then type /opp knocks it comes up with a list of gems that have sold and colors the one with the best profit so u can see what to cut. I have only been using it for 2 days now but have made 1.5k gold from selling what it said will let u know how it goes but you may wont to look at it in the future for an article the author of the mod is Flyv so all credit to him for making my life easier. I don’t have the epic riding skill yet but it wont be long now. it’s on CURSE.com website if u wont to look at it was updated 2009/05/20 but it still works for me.
