It has a combination of both high burst dmg and decent aoe. I know that unholy still pulls high numbers with aoe but single target dmg doesn't even come close to the numbers I get with frost. I honestly have tried all 3 specs because I liked all 3 specs and coudn't decide which one to use for dps so I spent alot of time switching between the 3 and testing. I understand that most people won't want to accept that frost might actually be better than unholy for dps because they have grown use to using unholy but I cant deny the crazy numbers Im getting from frost. I was under the assumption that the only way Improved Icy Talons(the raid buff) procs is from actually casting Icy Touch. I may be mislead though.
