Guys dont forget the bind on account items, they can help make the difference from when those blues or epics just dont cut it any more and have to settle for a crappy green that does better than those old uber l33t weapons and gears, what i may also suggest imo is when leveling take in account for potential item drops that may be of use to another characters of yours instead of just auctioning it off. Sure your toon may be level 17 but you might be a little happy to have not sold that blue little trinket, armor, or weapon when your charecter hits level “X”. Good weopons can drop mobbs faster, save you health and precious time,

Awesome tip, and to add to it, although i don’t know as i haven’t tried it yet. If your a shammy then you could technically use your astral recall for a total of 10 hearths per hour. Major cut down on time.

Recall is also handy if your a gambler. My pally has it (shoulders!) and every time I need to get to the other side of the world (and im not in Dala or shat) I roll the dice with a recall 1 or 2. with a 1 I “normally” end up at booty bay, Kranos, or Gad. (im ally)
Its pretty handy if you cant find a port.

Another way to improve the speed of your levelling is to have enough money. If you have, you can start out at level 1 with 4 frostweave bags and always buy the best armor and weapons, healing and mana potions for your level at the AH. Then the really big time savings are not to die as much and not to loot everything you kill. If you’ve got 20K gold, you won’t need to bother picking up 5 silver from mobs.

I’d love to know what “good” time /played is to level 50, 60, 70, 80 and which classes (not DK) manage it fastest.

(I love your site and have been reading it for years)
