The cheapest L73 green is 18g, not even double Cosmics will save you on that one. The other brackets are in the same shape. We’re a pretty efficient bunch when it comes to vacuuming the Auction House.

100 greens, 350 dust, 1155g minus cost of the greens, maybe 800g net? As I said, I’d starve.

Not about jewelcrafting:
Just to make a bit a extra money i buy Eternal Fire for ~12-15g each and 2 green gems (1-3g each) making 14-21g and transmute that to earthsiege diamonds(Alchemy) which sell for 28-32g ach, which would mean 14-11g profit if i would sell the gem, but instead i get someone in my guild to cut it to a meta, which makes it worth 40g-60g for a profit of 20-40g, can’t do this too much tho, depends on your server population too. I only place 2-3 of one meta at a time in the AH, depending how much are in it already and for what price.

Wow… I would always buy saronite ore at 18g a stack, prospect it, and usually, after cutting the blue quality gems, they would allow me to break even, and almost all the time i would bring in a profit just from those.. After I DE’d all the rings i made from the green gems i had left over, that was just a bonus. i usually bring in at the minimum 300g for 15-30 minutes of work at the auction house. IMO Jewelcrafting is indeed the easiest way to make cash. Also i make money by buying out all the uncut gems and then cutting them. its free money. i dont see why u guys are saying that JC isnt easy cash… This is super easy and i think how much money you bring in also depends on if you have those cuts that everyone wants..

The only reason you have trouble finding greens for DE is that you don’t know exactly how or when to look. It is rare, even on the low pop horde side of my server that I don’t win at least 50-100 auctions every day for DE greens. It’s all in the way you set AADV bro.

Between the five or six (or who knows how many guildies are working that low pop house like fiends) of us using the DYS methodology we probably DE 500-600 items a week out of the AH. And while we might not be getting all we want as individuals, there is still plenty to go around to make all of us huge gold every week.

No, ore is a great money maker like you said – from time to time. What we really do is hit every single one of these trends ALL the time. I do it with ore and herbs and cloth and bags and shards and dusts and eternals and greens and epics and on and on and on. Plus, I never have to think about anticipating the trends.

So in reality I believe in making gold exactly the same way you do – in big huge chunks from time to time. The only difference is that my time is about every week instead of every few months.

And Radjim, since you spend so much time working on making gold I just wanted to help you get the most for the least amount of effort. You are really running a pretty sophisticated system there, but I feel like with just a few tiny tweaks you could keep your 2k a day and spend 1 hour instead of 6.

That’s all we’re talking about. It’s not really about who makes the most overall, but how can I make more with less time and effort so I can go kill a mob from time to time.

You’re using about 75% of our system, just without the numbers and setting to back it up to the point that you could run it in a coma. Honestly, if you were to plug your skill into the right engine you would understand what I am talking about.

And the things you describe are EXACTLY how to use arbitrage and professions together to maximize your gold per unit of time. The only thing I would say is that you might find even more gold in your process if you didn’t prospect your ore and just sold it.

If you can find bargains on mats sell them to some other guy who thinks they are doing well buying ore for market price and prospecting it to sell the gems. Feed the beast bro.

You’ve also hit on another very good point about timing when it comes to the AH. You need to know when the market is hot for what you are selling – or at least you do if you are operating in a single market.

Our complete system removes all of that sort of thing by taking market motion into account in a way that means you dont have to think about it ever again. We’ve already gone through all the ups and downs, the beginning of the weeks and the weekends and boiled it all down to a few little things to do every day that take almost no time and keep us from having to spend extra time on any day of any month in any year.

I have listened to Lawbringer and Gavin for a long time on making money and running the AH, I have the guide and I make as little or as much as I want. If there is one thing that they do know it is making gold in WoW.

Hi guys just wanted to add that I have been following your advice for ages and you know your stuff. I don’t have alot of gold but I always have more than my guildies. I make most of my gold by DE and I must point out that trying to get my guildies to understand how to do is has been frustrating. Thanks heaps for the advice.
