Got it last week and I LOVE it. I don’t know if my playstyle is better but I feel much more comfotable. Every one should get one

The regular keyboards are nice, but they really aren’t meant for 1-handed playing. It’s not healthy for your hand to be in such a position, and reaching for the alt, shift, or control key forces you to move your hand in ways that is not natural.

You may have seen the developing craze over ergonomic keyboards. The nostromo device is on the same principle: It’s ergonomic for one handed use. All of the buttons are in more natural, convenient positions than before. Because the device is more natural to your hand, it becomes easier to play. It doesn’t necessarily make you a better player– you still need the skills you’ve developed, ect ect, but with this it will be much more comfortable, and easier, to play.

So in Janurary, I just hit 79 on my lock and was about to start raiding. I needed something better then my little mac keyboard. The only thing sthat I really liked were the G13 and the N52te!
I am 15 years old and my hand is quite big, but I did get the N52te after much debate and thought.
I cannot complain one bit. I have no macros, but simply keys bound to numbers and a few letters that I picked specifically for me.
Now, I also use a button on my N52 to hit “alt” and therefore opening up double the keys.
Since there is 3 different sets of keybinds (red/green/blue) that you can program differently, I use each one for a different character.
Blue=lok
Red=pally
Green=druid
I abosultley love my N52, and until my friend gets his G13, I won’t know the difference!
Flyinglok (only one in WoW with that name)

Shoot me a message on youtube (user cowsrfriends) for my N52te setup, its a little complex, but it owns with the ui pack I got from wowinterface!

I thought I was doing okay with my keyboard and mouse too. This kind of article makes me think something like this would make me a better player. Would it be hard to get used to? Am I really a terribly sucky player because I don’t have everything I do macro’d?

Careful with macros outside of WoW… While I love them, ever since the whole craziness of Blizzard’s bans for Logitech’s G15 I refuse to use them in fear of getting banned. I have the original G15, so I have 18*3 keys that have no use; they are just wasting desk space when it comes to WoW…

I used the N52 for at least 6 years, with NO malfunctions. It is very sturdy, even if made out of plastic. It has withstood drops, spills, and more, and still runs fine even to this day. The N52te works just as well, and I look forward to many years of use out of it as well.

It doesn’t use macros in the same sense as the “in game” macros. I have my macros set up to use hot keys called out in the key bindings. It makes a nearly unlimited number of hot keys possible for bar buttons, as Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Ctrl-Alt, Ctrl-Shift, and Ctrl-Alt-Shift combos are no problem, leaving single key hot key bindings still usable on the keyboard itself.

oh ok I got it now thx. Might be dumb but i was kinda hoping it was kinda like a mouse with keys for macros on it. That might not even make any logical sense lol. Still would probably help me as I have no macro experiance.

It made to be used along with the mouse, only on the other side of the keyboard with your left hand. I’ve used an N52 for a couple of years, and they are great!
