Noblegarden

It’s Easter with a Heff ref., although I guess we have to put up with at least a little no-so-G-rated in all of the holiday goop. So if you don’t mind spending a couple of hours as a rabbit you might actually have a little fun with this event.
It’s really pretty simple. I took a few minutes to research the thing and what I found was what you normally expect to find when it comes to advice. Just odds and ends and nobody really boiled it down to its bare essentials. But we’ll do that for you.
Here is the key – loot a bunch of eggs. Let’s assume you have no idea what Nobelgarden is at this point. It’s the latest holiday event Blizz added in patch 3.1. Personally I find it the biggest time sink and most mind-numbing, but it may also be the easiest overall to complete.
Perhaps it really doesn’t take as long as some of the other ones, but since you’re pretty much just grinding around in circles picking up eggs it seems like it takes forever. But back to the tips.
Head out to a starting area. Horde can choose from Razor Hill, Bloodhoof Village, Falconwing Square and Brill. Alliance toons run around in Dolanaar, Falcon Watch, Goldshire and Thelsammar. Advantage Ally for sure on this one. There are just a lot fewer folks on Teldrassil and certainly Azuremyst Isle. Horde toons will have a lot more competition.
Once you get there you’ll pick up two quests: The Great Egg Hunt and A Tisket, a Tasket, a Noblegarden Basket. The Great Egg Hunt is a repeatable daily for the duration of Noblegarden, the other is just handy as we will soon find out.
Accept both quests and then equip the basket you got from the Tisket quest. Then make yourself this nifty little macro:
#showtooltip Noblegarden Chocolate
/use Egg Basket
/use Brightly Colored Egg
You’re here to pick up Brightly Colored Egg – lots of them – 205 to be exact. So all you have to do is spam your shiny new macro and the speed boost you get from the basket will be up almost all the time. The macro also opens all your eggs so you don’t even have to mess with them at all. Run circles around the Inn at first to get a feel for where the eggs spawn, and then gradually broaden your search until you find a path to run over and over again that you like and yields a few eggs with each circuit.
Don’t turn in the quest A Tisket, and just keep the temporary basket. We want to get all this done without wasting the 10 chocolates. So just run around for an hour or two and then see if you’ve lucked out or not.
Honestly, it’s pretty much just get eggs until you have around 200 chocolates. Once you’ve got 205, check your bags to see if you’ve gotten a tux set or a dress, Spring Robes, Spring Flowers, and Blossoming Branch. If you do, you’re done. Just hit up the Noblegarden vendor and buy your rabbits foot, and a Noblegarden Egg.
Now you can get down to completing the random-ish achievements that are left. Here is a list, and they are pretty self-explanatory so I won’t go into them in-depth.
- Noble Garden
- Shake Your Bunny Maker
- Spring Fling (horde)
- Spring Fling (ally)
- Blushing Bride
- Chocoholic
- Desert Rose
- Hard Boiled
The only tricky one is Hard Boiled, and it’s less tricky than sort of a pain – especially for toons under lvl 50. So you might read the comments at Wowhead on that one. Other than that you’re all done. We were able to complete the whole thing in a little under 3 hours on our first toon, so now that you know what to do and what not to do you should be able to Dominate this one even quicker than we did.

For correction, the Alliance starting areas are Dolanaar, Goldshire, Azure Watch, and Kharanos.
Well, im horde and i finished all this within a couple hours as well… if ur horde theres a really nice place to pick up all ur eggs, just go to falconwing square and circle around the fountain picking them up both inside the fountain and under the benches. If more people come don’t fret there’s plenty to go around and you’ll still pick up around 8-10 eggs a minute.
500 eggs later and still no Elegant Dress… I hate this holiday.
my friend got this on her lvl 19 hunter char as it is one of the easier titles to get as a lowbie, providing you have high level friends ofc
In my 5:1 Ally:Horde Server, Ally have been coming to bloodhoof village to pilfer eggs! /shoo Funny how crossroads is always under attack but they’re not (yet) raiding en masse.
Umm you can get the pet from eggs too…in fact its the most common drop next to egg shells and chocolates (I got 3 and since they’re BoP I vendored the other two).
You only NEED to get 105 chocolates if you get lucky.
how did you vendor them??? they have a no sell price
Tut tut, redirecting to Wowhead… I don’t know
For the Un’goro one, it doesn’t have to be difficult for any level of player – rather than running all the way from Mulgore or (God help you) Azuremyst, just bring a friend with blossoming branch – that kind of rabbit costume will work just as well as the sort you pick up from looting eggs.
Also, worth noting the dress and tux don’t soulbind, so if you can find a guildie/friend/person in general who wants the same achievements as you, you only need 1 set between you.
If ur horde go to falconwing square er whatever its called circle the fountain and pick them from both the fountain and under the benches. You’ll get a ton
I believe almost if not all the purchasable vendor items are possible drops from eggs. On my first toon I managed to get 2 sets of tuxes, a dress, the flowers, and the ears. Unless you just have horrible luck, you should be able to get a handful of the items you’ll need for the other achievements without having to buy them.
I just started on my second toon last night and within about 15 minutes had a tux set with extra pants and the elegant dress.
It’s true this is probably the easiest holiday to do for the widest range of players but it only seems time consuming because you’re just farming eggs for a few hours until you have all you need and/or you’re bored to tears. Also, if you can put off working on the eggs till late at night on your server it’s much easier since there’s less competition for eggs. Personally I prefer just camping out spawning points as opposed to running around searching for eggs. There’s a nice spot under a ramp in Dolanaar that has 3 spawning points within reach that I just sit at and chill (that is until other annoying payers come and sit on top of me trying to steal eggs and then tell me not to be greedy >.> /grumbles)
Good luck and happy egg hunting!
Ok, I take it back.
I just finished the egg hunting bit on my second toon and running around using the above macro was much faster and easier, thanks a bunch for that.
She made out even better than my first… 2 tux sets, an elegant dress, the robes, and the pet all from eggs. All I had to buy was the flowers and the egg for SW.
this one was real fun on my server, spent first couple of hours getting eggs, ended up suicide running into IF to find a female dwarf as horde, then the next day it seemed that dalaran was full of female dwarves *sigh*
um… WTB female orc… pst…
nuff said.
I as a mage, only did this event for the cool new “Polymorph: Rabbit” spell… (so worth it) i looted 115 chocolates (i handed in the basket quest before i found there was a chocolate vendor) and i managed to pick up… flowers.. spring dress..ears..2x elegant dress… and anything else i cant remember… other than the tuxedo… from what i’ve heard from friends/guildies.. they aren’t finding it very easy to get the tux from the eggs either..
It’s funny how when i woke up in the morning i went to the areas… and there was people running around doing it “the right way”… i come home from work 5 hours later to find about 60 campers… so instead of trying to beat them, i joined them… i was in bloodhoof village.. the stairs type things (long planks of wood with gaps in the middle) leading to a tent have 3 spawn points.. one for each gap.. so if you come across my situation (or you’re a tad lazy), i found this quite a good place to sit around waiting for my naxx to start, having a good old chat with the guildies
dont forget the one small fact that ONLY mages can see the Extra (Polymorph: Rabbit) you can get for them. Either you get it in an Egg (I got lucky on mine) or you pay 100 chocolates to the vendor. This might add to your running time, if you are an achievement whore
Side note, for all you horde players (like myself) several good spawn points in certain areas make this a bit easier to do if you dont like running in big circles. Best one I found was in Falcon Wing Square (Belf Starting area) near the Cheese Vendor/Cart. There are like 9 spawns right on top of you and depending on your time of day to do this, you can farm out about 500 eggs in 2 hours or so (I farmed extras, so this may not apply to you) at 3am server time on a medium pop server
I got all item from the eggs, it is the easiest and fastest achivment to finish. The hard part is to find a female player from oppsite faction.
