I’ve found dragonfin angelfish in abundance (in pools and out of them) right on the river between Grizzly Hills and Dragonblight. At least on my server, there’s never anyone fishing there, and there aren’t any mobs at all on the Dragonblight side of the river where most of the pools spawn.

just remember that the +25 fishing pole is horde only.
kaulak fishing pole of course is better at +30, and the arcanite fishing pole from stv fishing comp for +35, but other than that alliance can only get a maximum of +20 (big iron and seth’s)

bonescael snapper makes a decent health and mana food just cooked on its own, saves me loads not buying food and water

Done this a few times, though I get so bored of fishing. The Blackened (2fish) one is the agility food buff, the Fillet (1fish) is the strength one…With the huge influx of paladin/DKs on my server, the demand has skyrocketed, but the pool is normally empty of fishers 8 pools to yourself!

On Bronzebeard, that is one of the most fished spots. There is always several people there fishing, rarely am I alone. And I fish a lot. But then, we are a server that is full of maxed out fishermen, supplying their guilds with tons of fish feasts. Have noticed many guilds provide them routinely, just to be hospitable.

I disagree about the snapper being useless cooked. Snapper x 3 makes snapper extreme wich sells very well (about 5 g each) due to +hit. So you had 28 of them, that means 9 snapper extreme x 5 = 45 g !

Great post, thanks for the info.
I’ve fished here myself a few times and even with one other person fishing the pools there, I almost always found an untaken pool for myself. Time to go check my server’s prices on those foods and go out fishin again
