Alchemy is very beneficial with extended flask and elixir times as well as greater benefits. Tailoring - Cloak embroideries kinda suck, but they are there and the leg threads for tailors are cheaper than the non BOP kind. And you get the carpet of course. Engineering - Goggles have always been the staple and although they aren't top gear, they still are great while levelling or getting ready for raiding. So even if you replace the JC crafted items, you are still getting benefits from being a JC. Especially since these gems are chromatic and can be used to activate metas and socket bonusses without having to worry about colour. Enchanting benefit = 19*2 = 38 spell power, not 32
