Wow Feneris is way behind my server, Shadowmoon. There is already at least 4 lvl 80’s ion my guild alone. And to top it all off we aren’t even close to the top guild, on Friday there was a guild that got a realm first achievement to kill Kel’Thuzad on heroic. There are tons of people looking for pugs do to heroic instances. And on Sunday someone got the realm first achievement Northrend Vanguard.

So nice deal on those Realm Firsts but just the other day i saw someone get the realm first lvl 80 Death Knight and they also got realm first lvl 80 orc lol and theres already a guild in the instance in Icecrown there only i think 100+ 80’s on my server!!!
but im leaving my server eventually because the poulation is so low but its starting to pick up but you never know!!! lol

Currently as the mass of DKs make their way to 80 some mats have dropped to ridiculous prices (Primals, Arcane Dusts, Prismatic Shards and Planar Essences mostly but anything else that can be picked up in mass quantity like Runecloth). I was able to pick some up for enchants at <30 % of historic base price.

So my questions are:
A) Will the price come back to some reasonable level (most likely…?) and
B)How long will this take (1-2 months or 6-9months)?
C)What should I do with excess mats that my DK is picking up as he levels? Store them for a couple months down the road when they (inevitably?) come back up or sell them as I level at current market price?
D)What do you suppose the new price will be ? 50% of pre-expansion, more? less?

My first Horde toon is now leveling up on Fenris and in the Dominate guild. I have mining and BS. Would you recommend changing BS to another profession? For now, I have no enchants or glyphs. At what level should I get some? There don’t seem to be any guildmates making them available. Just finished Podcast 5. Great info and advice. Thanks and Keep em coming.

I’m looking at leveling up a deathknight but I’m wondering what gathering professions are fastest to level up. My plan is to do 2 gathering professions until capping, while storing all the goods and then deciding on a crafting prof after, allowing me to sell 1 of my 2 gathering stockpiles. Your thoughts, please?

About Auctioneer, Should I delete the database and reset the history to 0 or should I continue and let “nature take it’s course” and continue using my own judgement when pricing items who’s prices are currently out of whack ?

If I understand Auctioneer correctly, a long standing DB will take longer to correct to new market conditions. So: is losing historic base price on EVERYTHING really worth getting accurate market conditions for items affected by the expansion?

About the DK: I’m listening to your podcast atm (and I love it) and just heard you say that frost is good tank, which I allready know, and unholy is best solo. I don’t mean to question you since you are much smarter than me on this, but still; I’m blood-spec and I down almost all mobs in less than 5 sec, with NO downtime (thanks to vendetta and Death Strike) whatsoever, while my cusin is playing unholy and gets killed about twice as many times as I do, whilst almost never having full HP (mostly around 50%), and killing takes at least 10 seconds for him.

What I want to know is why unholy is better than blood, since it’s better to know HOW something works so you can do it yourself, than just knowing it works.

Now for a question or two.

Is it useful to do the dailies? I know Protecting Wormcrest will EVENTUALLY got me a red drake, and the Drake Hunt is just too easy to pass up at this point even though I have no clue what I get other than 20K XP and 5g, but how about “Preparing for the Worst”? That one is getting annoying. I’m “assuming” there are others I haven’t found yet.

Is it too early to start getting ready for Winter Veil? Small eggs are already selling for 1g each on my server. I’m wondering if I should start listing them at 2g-3g each to get the price up.

Finally, I saw my first Mechano-hog today. I checked the Horde side AH, but none were listed, what 50Kg?
