In the final podcast before WotLK Gavin and Moneybaggins go over everything you need to know to make sure you are fully prepared to go Dominate the expansion. They cover professions, how to score your last few gold, and somehow find time for a little romance.

where do we get the new leveling guide?

Any idea when the updated inscription guide is going to be sent out? I thought it was due about a week after the main patch? Wotlk isnt far away at all now, and I have no idea at all about glyphs in the xpac.

Hi Rad,
We covered this in one of the podcasts, but I guess we should have posted it as well. The inscription market on most servers is really, really depressed. People are taking mats that sell for 10g in the AH, and turning them into glyphs that they are selling for 1g. It’s completely insane!
Right now we’re waiting for the market to stabilize (it can’t go on forever with people losing money… eventually it’ll correct itself), and recommending that scribes make and sell mats (inks and pigments and herbs) until the market corrects itself.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion Andy, and I’m sure you’ve spent hundreds of hours leveling and testing like we have. I’m also sure that you will certainly beat us to 80 going solo.
It really is that simple. Yes, you do not save time traveling, yes you share experience. But the fact remains that two toons can kill mobs MORE than twice as fast. Two toons also can complete quests that you cannot complete solo, and in a tough spot two toons will blast mobs where one toon might have a problem.
Beyond that, Two toons have NO downtime, since one can continue to kill while the other eats/drinks so it’s a non-stop slaughter fest. We certainly hope that everyone else going for the achievement feels that solo is the only way to go. We will crush them, and it won’t even be close.
As a matter of fact, the only thing we are worried about is that some guild will send a single toon out with 15 or 20 buddies. That’s the only way a team can get owned – with a bigger team, not a smaller one.
When it comes to grouping for questing the point is that xp from mos isn’t nearly as important for leveling as finishing the quests faster. You simply cannot hit 80 grinding mobs and depending on the xp from mobs to get you there. You have to complete the quests for the 20k to 30k xp from the turn-ins.
We are not offended because we know we are right. We have tested this extensively and it always turns out that a group of two levels faster than solo. And it’s as simple as that.
Ah, missed the chance to ask a question to be on the pod cast… was gonna ask if the epic healing set from tailoring is worth making for wotlk (im staying holy because im leveling in a group).
What server are you guys on I’m going to make a new char so i can get info faster and info wile I lvl up?

I just took a look at your leveling guide. For HORDE????? What’s up. What happened to the updated Alliance guide? With 7 level 70 alliance toons and 0 horde toons, the horde guide does zip for me.
Hmm… you have 7 lvl 70 Alliance toons? An ZERO horde 70s? Sounds to me like you need a Horde guide much more than an Alliance guide
I’ve never made nor offered an Alliance leveling guide (yet), so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

Gratz on your leveling guide, sounds like it will be the answer to Horde dreams. And seeing as Horde & Ally are all friends here, any ideas on when something will be available for us Ally?

They didn’t create the mod. Gavin created a guide using the framework of an existing mod.
I want to join your realm / Server and get your guide to lvl but i cant join your realm as im on a EU realm
is there anyway i can join it another way i really want to DOMINATE !

to Gavin u said that u cant use flying mounts in northrend till lv 77 does this include druids and their flight form and epic flight form. If it does include them than shouldn’t they be considered a mount and count towards your mount collection to help with the 50 achievement that gets u the albino drake.
You are unable to use any forms of flight weather it be in a form or on a mount, flying is unable to be done till you train Cold Weather Flying.
and stop crying, you get an instant cast flying form.
