had my friend taking my glyphs and posting them as i was learning, i was first to market and so far the cheapest glyph ive ever sold is 45g i hardly have to make any of the low ones because of all the people getting stuck at low lvl herbs and selling their glyphs for a few gold and i just buy them all up have made 14k so far this was well worth it. just for reference it took me a month to get my epic flying mount

The server I am playing on with my inscriptionist -- Rexxar -- is sucking as far as the market goes. A number of players have posted their major glyphs for as little as 1g. The minors are still doing well as far as making money, but the majors -- everyone is pricing them down way too much.

People who are new to the game should always do a gathering profession (optimally 2) while they learn the intricacies of more advanced gold-making techniques and other things like just flat leveling.

I would do herbalism and mining to start with since they will be the most profitable with both alchemists and scribes needing herbs and almost everyone needing metals or gems from ores.

Ok so ive owned WOW for about 6 months now but have only played it for about 4 months. The last patch to come out totally screwed up my computer so ive just been reading my e-mails from Gavin to keep up with things. Im getting my computer updated/fixed in the next month or so but i wouldnt say before the the new expansion comes out. I currently do not have any characters who specialise in herbilsm but ive been planning on making another character who will. Problem is though im not sure if that is such a good idea...herbs will be on high demand when the expansion is relesed so there will be much competition...

Do you think its a good idea to make a character specialise in herbilsm AFTER the new expansion??

Need some help deciding if its worth it, all replys are welcomed.

when I strictly want honor I usually run Alteric Valley or Eye of The Storm it seems to me that I get more honor at these places. Remember though for your armor sets you also marks from certain places so you will have to do those BG's. I will run the BG's I need the marks from until I get enough marks then I switch to the two I mentioned above to finish out my honor points.

As far as making gold goes if you are level 70 run all the daylies that is several hundred gold everyday in just a few hours. Vendor the trash and auction the extra cloth, and green items you get. If you do not need the Marks of Sageras then auction these as well.

When it comes to Neitherweave cloth check the vendor price on neitherweave bandages before you put the cloth on auction. At times on my server you can vendor a stack of Heavy Neitherweave bandages for 5 or 6 gold and the cloth only sales for 2.4 gold or less. If your make bandages and vendor them that is an extra half gold to whole gold sometimes. It all depends on the market that day.

Also download advanced auctioner if you have not done that already and scan the auction house everyday at least once, but two or three times at different times is even better.

Wow... read more into what I was saying much? I know you can make tons of gold with inscription. When I brought my alchemist/herbalist over to the PTR, I dropped alchemy and picked up inscription. I'm currently sitting at 364 inscription and by not being overly greedy and selling the glyphs for between 20-30g each, I've gone from 266g (which is how much she had on her when she was copied) to 3200g... I picked up inscription 3 days ago.

So yes, tons of money can and WILL be made by folks who take Inscription. And Gavin is completely right. LOAD UP ON HERBS before the patch comes out. I found I ran out of mid-level herbs (kingsblood, khadgar's whisker, goldthorn, etc.) quicker than the others. A couple circuits around STV, Arathi Highlands and Dustwallow Marsh and you should get all the herbs you need to be able to mill enough pigment to make the inks you need to level to 175 (to get to the next tier of herbs). Load up on Dreamfoil, sungrass and mountain silversage as well to get you to 300 and the master inscription person in HH.

Patiently awaiting the guide   I've been buying and gathering tons of herbs but I hope you all can get the guide out soon so I can start focusing on herbs that have a higher drop rate for rare pigs. Thanks for all the great info!

i learned that paladin and warrior glyphs will be in high deman the judgement damage increase ones sold for 150g each while others were 50-90. i had discovered alot of minor glyphss some of them were pretty kool. the seal of command glyph for example was my highest seller for paladins.. warriors glyphs sold about the same as as paladin ones.. so some say that ptr is un real money and dont care about it well i asked around and most pople came (average joe 70 mind you) with about 500-700 gold.
