Making Gold Grow On Trees
Posted on October 2nd, 2008 by Gavin under Auction House, Gold Building, WotLKNews Flash!
Inscription is gold Making Machine
We’ve never seen anything like what inscription is about to do to the WoW marketplace. Every single toon on every single realm is going to want glyphs. They will want them the minute the patch goes live. They will want them for every alt. They will want the very best glyphs. They will want minor glyphs. They will want them, and they will want them so badly they will pay almost anything a high level scribe will charge.
We’ve been working with inscription for more than a month now. When Blizz added the glyphs to the profession, we did some serious herb farming and started over from scratch in inscription so that we could begin working on a guide for leveling the profession. What we found will shock you.
You know we’re not given to exaggeration. Shock is one of those words thrown around pretty lightly these days, but in this case it may actually not be strong enough. If you’ve ever had problems making gold, this is your shot. If you know how to make decent gold and want to take the quantum leap to dragon size piles of it, this is your chance. There simply is not enough hyperbole to describe just how big a money-maker this one is going to be, and it’s coming very soon.
Just to prove a point about this whole gold thing - I’m going to show you something. Last Thursday (when we heard that inscription was going to go live in the next patch) I hopped on the Beta realm right away and got to work farming herbs like a wildman. I actually started by copying a pre-made toon to the Beta. The pre-mades are wicked. I chose a level 80 druid so that I could use flight form to farm herbs. This guy came with every piece of high end PvP gear (for all three specs) a flying mount, an epic land mount, every flight path and 5,000 gold to boot. It was the perfect setup for running through this profession in record time.
Well, I spent about 1,000 of that 5,000 gold while I worked inscription through the first 100 skill points. There were no herbs on the AH, so I had to farm every single one. I learned a LOT about how to farm for inscription specifically, it’s very different from farming for alchemy. As I leveled inscription, I made sure to make a variety of glyphs for each class when I was creating them for skill points. Then I started selling them at the AH.
Now, every single toon in the Beta has the opportunity to do exactly what I did. But they didn’t, so I was about the only dude with glyphs on the ah most of the time. Other people have been working on their inscription for weeks and were way ahead of me. It didn’t matter. I just know more about how to work a market, and I beat them all silly. I mean I crushed them, pwned them, Dominated.
When you really know how to work a market and not just sell stuff, it makes a big difference. We’ve been telling you for weeks to save up all your herbs for sale - the prices are going to be insane for them when inscription comes out - that’s still true, but don’t you dare sell a single herb. If you’ve never taken my advice, listen this one time, just this once. Send all those herbs to a level 70 toon and get ready to make some real gold. Big gold, huge gold, enormous/mountains/piles/heaps/avalanches of the stuff.
I started selling those glyphs I was making. They sold so fast I couldn’t believe it. So I made some more, marked up the prices and they sold even faster. I couldn’t keep up with the demand, not even close. So I marked up my prices again, and still didn’t have an auction end. In just four days. Let me repeat that, just 4 days I made so much gold I couldn’t carry any more.
There are some rumors that float around that are basically nearly impossible to confirm. There is supposed to be some sort of cap on how much gold you can carry on a single toon. Some crazy number that only a few of us know about. Well, I was opening up all those piles of gold in the beta and suddenly I couldn’t open them any more. I tried logging out - no help. Then I took a peek at my gold total, and there it was.
You feeling me now? When I tell you how to make gold, you already know that I know what I’m talking about. At least I hope you do. I will grant you that this was in the beta and everyone had some gold to throw around, but to hit the gold cap in just 4 days?
When we post things at DYS we mean business (even if that business is just fun stuff like the motorcycles). Lawbringer and the rest of our writers are good at what they do. You simply will not find another site that has a team of people that can give you better information on every aspect of the game.
If you only got one tip like this a YEAR it could make all the difference in the world to the way you play the game. Once a month and you could very well get a lot better. But we post articles every few days and every single one of them has to reach a high standard.
You may not always agree with everything we say. Every single article may not apply to what you like to do. But when we say we are experts we can back it up. The screenshot above is not a mock-up. I will actually mail one person on the Murmur Beta realm 100,000 gold to prove it. There is probably that much waiting for me in the mailbox anyway that I can’t even take out right now.
Now, I’m not saying you will every hit the gold cap on a live server, although I hear Lawbringer is making a serious run at it. But if I can hit 215,000+ gold on the test server in less than a week - you might want to consider listening to me when I talk about - well anything. It’s sort of like those old EF Hutton commercials. When Gavin talks, you should listen.
We are going to keep on posting the tips, tools and information you need to completely Dominate the next patch, the WotLK expansion, and beyond. In the next few days we have some really exciting tools for you - I just wanted you to understand when I say exciting - you should probably look at the word in a whole new light.
Stick with me, and take my tips as though they were worth 215,000 gold and I WILL help you learn to Dominate!

much thanks well I am on the ptr and well sir , i just want to know the average price for glyphs .. i had been selling all my level 15 glphs for 25g each and the 30’s for 40g each and they all sold pretty quickly ..non of my addons are working in the ptr …so im at a loss on the verage price for stuff and what to charge(im testing this for live realm prices) well lets say this i copied my druid 2 times to the realm and with 375 herbalism aand 375 alchemy….. dropped alchemy on one toon and went farming .. lots of competiton but due to my memory of good places to herb for the starter stuff
now the differtence o the ptr and the beta is we come with our own money so its more of a real test so .. my druid started out with 100g i now have 2500g in 2 days. so i suppose yes i will have my flyers.!!
so if ya have time come look me up im mistsune (waspire or nullkazz)
also what is the average gold drops for monsters 71-75?
avg gold drops for 71-75 is about 18s there elites i have seen almost 80s per mob, this amount doesnt change much for the next bracket up either though
woops logged today and now have 3500g.
Hey Gavin,
That was a great post, but i was wondering if this will be as efective when WoTLK goes live, surely the demand will decrease with most players picking up this profession? Or do u think u could dominate with this even into next year?
Jenk
Right now, 18 months after the BC expansion, the top Jewelcrafters on every server I’m on still make huge bucketloads of gold.
Yes, when WotLK goes live, there will be tons and tons of Inscribers competing for sales, which will make the lower level stuff drop significantly in price (high availability = more competition = less cost).
But, if you’ve been following my advice and stocking up on herbs, you can blow past all the wannabes and be selling the high level stuff within a couple hours of the patch going live. At that level, there just wont be very much competition, and you’ll have the market to yourself while everyone else is farming herbs to sell or to level up their inscription.
After the initial huge spike in demand, things will level off, and if you’ve established yourself as THE scribe on your server, you’ll continue to make tons of gold well into next year.
This is definitely a “first to market” race… whoever can get inscription up to 375 the fastest on your server is going to make a killing.
Gavin, so when you coming out with this Inscription Guide? Is Mageroyal still a huge herb or did they change that stuff out yet? Any other herbs I should mass farm?
I did inscription on beta until like 200ish but ran out of herbs, so im preping myself for 3.0.
Gavin,
It seems that you were also selling Mechano-Hogs while earning your so it wouldnt have been solely due to Inscription but i do agree that inscription is going to make a TONNE of money if used correctly. Good post.
The mechano hogs were an afterthought really. I had already nearly hit the cap when some goof posted 50 of them for just 500 gold, so I bought every one and doubled the price. I was only able to pick up about 5k gold from the mailbox off the hogs before I hit the cap. The rest was from glyphs and a few oddball herbs and scrolls.
I personally will not pick up this new profession.
Im betting on getting herbalism on one of my alts im currently leveling since alot of players will get inscription. And since every one on my current server is to lazy gathering the herbs required im stocking up on it (and i really mean stocking up on it)
If EVERYONE thinks that EVERYONE else will be getting inscription that probably means not very many people will actually do inscription. Since very few people know that inscription is in the next patch until the next patch is on their machine - by then it’s too late to take maximum advantage of inscription since the market will have already adjusted and they will be forced to farm herbs to make it work.
Even so, remember that we (re)started Inscription from scratch about 3 weeks after everyone else. But even though we were behind the curve a bit, you have to realize that most people do not have the tenacity to farm to level this thing and will give up at level 200 because they will not know where to farm for the right mats in large enough quantities and all the competition for farming.
Selling herbs will make you a load of money. But it won’t be anything compared to selling the glyphs. People will know that herb prices rise 300% and will just not pay more than that probably. But nobody knows what glyphs should be priced at for a while so you can sell the glyphs for a lot more than the mat price even though the mat price will be 300% more than normal.
I have been selling the level 350-370 glyphs for around 900g each on the Beta, and I’ve also been getting a lot of in-game tells asking for special orders. Most of the time they are paying 2k gold for glyphs through the mail. It’s ridiculous what people will spend for these things. I don’t expect it to be a lot different when inscription goes live.
The moral is, not everyone will get this profession. Maybe 50% of them will give it up at level 200 when it gets hard. Of the other 50% most will be farming for their herbs which will take them days if they do it 8 hours a day. And only about 1% will be able to hit 375 within hours after the patch goes live. On most servers that will mean you and like one or two other guys selling the high end glyphs for nearly a week.
Most people will want to be deciding which glyphs they want, not making them. You can all do what you like, but this really is the biggest opportunity you’ve ever had to make gold with zero exceptions.
Wow, this is incredible. When I hear that Inscription was going to be a big seller, I rerolled and picked up herbalism to start some farming with an alt. However, I never thought it would be THAT big of a seller. Thanks for the tip, Gavin. Hopefully I’ll never be out of gold again!
My question is are we going to get a shopping list for supplies to level inscription, I’ve been farming most of the mid level stuff because its always the rarest to see but I would love it if we could get a clue as to how much of each grouping of herbs we need to level it
Beta realm prices are always screwy Lawbringer, if you have played in any before you would know this. No one cares about their gold in the beta and every push, when your xfers are reset, you jsut xfer you bank alt over 4 times and hey presto another 100,000g in your pocket.
Apparently YOU didn’t do a character copy in this beta. The only toons on that realm were copies and so the most you could possibly have “presto” in your pocket would be 15,000g.
Regular toons all went to other servers.
i have 6 toons on beta actually, when they reset it that makes 30,000g, just a heads up
at lvl 70 you can have 2 major glyphs and 3 minor glyphs, if we use the number of 2000g to be the average gold someone has, you know a normal i dont play much player, that makes up the majority of the wow community
they probably wont spend over 600-700g for a major glyph.
now the real money maker however with inscriptions, are not the standard vender bought inscriptions, but the ones you learn from the daily discoveries.
the minor and major inscription research
if you manage to get a decent one, and then hold the monopoly on it for a while, THAT is where the money will be.
hey all
ok um i dont really pay much attention to path notes and stuff, dont shoot me i know “iTurd” right? cool.
so because inscription is nothing like other proffs is this proff still going to be held to the same rules as the others?? like what level your toon has to be per skill lvl? and also will there be rare scrib drops from random mobs or within instances/raids? my main is in a high end guild and we wrecked sunwell within 3 weeks of it going live. because of our effort will we be rewarded? as in will we get inscription patterns that drop from high end bosses that other less accomplished guilds wont really have access to? in other words will our guild be able to create “THE SCRIBE” on our realm by running him/her through intances/raids?
i know you try to help individuals to dominate but my guild is well equiped to make “THE SCRIBE” regardless of what any individual can accomplish by him/herself.
please could you shed some light on this subject gavin or lawbringer?
also, i am a mage, and who says we cant pwn? SAY WHAT? warlock this… warlock that… PFFFFT!!!!! MAGE FTW!
thanks for all the tips gavin and crew, when i am done i will dedicate my toon to you and this fine establishment. you may have my mage when im done with wow… i hate to say it, but dont hold your breathe for that to happen
Elzix, 70 UD Mage, Laughing Skull US realms
There haven’t been any drop recipes for inscription yet. So we just don’t know, but I have no doubt that there will be recipe drops. More than likely the drops will be minor inscriptions since there are only 61 of those and they must be discovered once every 20 hours. At that rate (and since they can duplicate) it will be at least 90 days before all of the current minor glyphs will be available to one scribe.
there havnt been any because there are none. There are a standared number of spells in the game, and only 6 slots total for glyphs, each spell doesnt get several types of glyphs (at least not yet) so they dont need to add super special ultra rare ones that drop off bosses or from hours of farming.
as has been said, the way scribs learn new glyphs are from the Minor Inscription research, and Major inscription research that youll learn as part of your inscription training.
Just wondering what Herbs were going to need ? i mean we can farm all day and night. but to know what Herbs will sell the Best or the fastest would be great.
Just a quick question, u keep saying stock up on herbs, (which i will do), but is there any other mats that i’ll need for the inscriptions?
herbs are it for farming, other than that its parchments which are bought from insrciption vendor.
@andy
scribes get another ability called milling which its sorta like a jewelcrafters prospecting, where it uses up 5 herbs and makes 1 ink.
the herbs required for each ink vary from the level of the herbs and such, so it isnt really a case of which herbs to get its stock up on herbs in general
Here’s a question. What kind of herbs specifically are needed for the high level glyphs. In other words, what should I be loading up on right now??
wait so you discover new glyph recipies like alchamists only u get one ever 20 hours so everyone will be selling different gylphs sicne everyone will ahve different ones for a while
there are some which are trainer boguht, but there are others which are discoveries yes
I see several mentions of stocking up on herbs, but which herbs should I be farming?
hey so I have about 200-300 peacebloom in my bank char ATM, going with your earlier tips, I would sell them in stacks of about 7 or 8 right? what other herbs will you use for inscription, not including Northrend ones?
5 are required per milling, so 7-8 to make people buy multiples yes
So everyone logs on to this test realm, gets a lvl 80 character and 5000 clams? And you’re stunned that you got rich by farming?
There was no getting rich farming. As a matter of fact I haven’t done a stitch of farming for herbs, the getting rich happened from selling the glyphs.
And yes, getting that rich that quick was a little stunning.
i also had alot of extra lower inks and i ve kept making them. and making the started scrolls but im averging 25g per scroll reguardless and my minor glyphs seem to sell about 35g also dreamfoil is going to be your best friend for a while so stock up now. i also notice certain herbs had a higher rate for the rare inks.
but more testing is needed to provide an accurate database.
Dreamfoil is NOT the way to go. Mountain Silversage has the best rare pigment proc rate, but it is NOT the way to go either.
During one leveling run I milled 2110 times which used up 10,550 herbs, or 527 full stacks plus a few. And that was on one test through. I keep very accurate notes.
The guides you wanted to post ARE works in progress, we have a much more complete guide coming out in the next couple of days that will be updated better and give more accurate information.
There is a VERY sweet spot for Silvery Pigment herbs, but it is not dreamfoil. Considering we had to farm more than 33,000 herbs in the last week I can say I know this for a fact.
Now, BUYING dreamfoil might be the way to go on some servers if you can get it in large enough quantities. But Mountain Silversage has a better proc rate as I said, so that would be my first choice in the Silvery pigment stage. But if you are farming herbs like we were then both of those herbs absolutely suck.
yes sir but due to its small availabilty mountain silversage .. well i did find a good proc rate and i found lots more dreamfoil, golden silversage available in hellfire and im doing this all with no epic mount or help of any kind. so yes its a work in progress. and i was just trying to help .
just a note 365 was far as i could go from trainer recipies. and only outland herbs.
Wintersprings have more Mountain silversage than Hellfire.
Dreamfoil is very easy to get, but I think I gonna get more of them both now.
Patiently awaiting the guide
I’ve been buying and gathering tons of herbs but I hope you all can get the guide out soon so I can start focusing on herbs that have a higher drop rate for rare pigs. Thanks for all the great info!
Taarkan
Is it true Inscriptions will use bloodthistle too? that could be a big problem on alliance, due to lack of supply.
NO, Bloodthistle is on a long list of things classified as herbs that are not millable.
hmm… then it’s time to sell them now, before this non-millable news go out.
I also wondering how should a DK lvl herb… take a day off and go have a walk at every low lvl area? or the starting area have something for you?
yes - a DK is going to have to go back to other starting areas to level hebralism once they complete their own starting area.
A further note on Unmillable herbs, here’s the list of herbs NOT to buy:
Black Lotus
Blood Thistle
Blood Vine
Fel Blossom
Fel Lotus
Fireleaf
Fire Seed
Flame Cap
Frost Lotus
Glowcap
Heart of the Wild
Netherdust Pollen
Nightmare Seed
Unidentified Plant Parts
Wildvine
So what are the herbs that are used to make what for inscription? I’m still a little hazy about what herbs to farm and focus on.
Lawbringer, could you perhaps give us a sneak peak - one or two hints - before you release this new guide?
I fear many hoping for your guide will “run out of time” with 3.0.2 so close. Any help would be appreciated!
well gaving guess you wanted yer own guide on here so you delted mine .. sigh ..well you have a dissapointed reader
please disreguard this comment. aplogies didnt mean to infringe upon your site. or your writers.
Ok. I have been waiting for something like this. My 70 is alch/herb master of elixirs. I hesitate to dump my alch, so my alt, who is a 61 ench/skinner seems the obvious choice. Skinning is a pain and since I have yet to max out on it, I think I will dump it for inscription. My first goal, then, is to level the inscription. Could someone point me in the right direction? Rather than pushing this 61 to 70 for the release, I plan to prep him for glyph sales. What should I farm? I can sell the excess, but really I would pref to be waste efficient, and if overfarming, do so at the higher, more profitable levels. Could anyone tell me what would give me that extra push to 200-250 in my first day? What would I need? A complete guide would rock, but just half way would be valuable too; do I farm Outland, or rush around grabbing lower herbs first? Where will I have competition, etc.? What is a waste of time?
Help! I dont want to waste time, what herbs do we need minimally to make it say, to 200 or so quickly?
One thing of note: The prices you see for low-level herbs on the PTR and beta for herbs are very likely NOT to be the case when 3.0.2 goes live. I’m sorry, but there would be NO way on earth (or Azeroth) that I would pay 500g for a single stack of peacebloom. Talk about ridiculously jacking up prices!! If those are going to be the prices once 3.0.2 goes live, and folks actually pay those prices, well, then hey, they can also afford to send my toon their extra money.
A quick run around Dun Morogh, Darkshore, Azuremyst/Bloodmyst Isle, or Elwynn would easily get you the stack you would otherwise be paying 500g for. The glyphs, I can understand selling for a bit more than your average scroll is worth, but *shrug* I sincerely hope once it all goes live that the low-end glyphs and such aren’t going to be so costly to purchase.
Who said anything about 500g stacks of peacebloom? If you saw something like that on the PTR do you know if it sold? I don’t think anyone would pay that much on any server anywhere.
Do you actually assume that that is the norm? I certainly saw some stupid prices for things like the mechano hogs, but they never sold. Even on the PTR you can’t just charge anything, the market always reaches an equilibrium, and normally it’s about 5 to 10 times higher than live for some items.
I was selling my extra herbs for just 3 to 4 times higher than live prices, and they never lasted more than an hour on the ah. I fully expect herb price to triple or more which means peacebloom should start selling for about 60 silver a stack instead of 20 silver a stack. It wouldn’t surprise me a BIT if even the low level herbs were worth something more like 2-5 gold however, which would be an increase of 1000%+
We’re not stupid either. But if I can buy peacebloom NOW at 20 silver, and resell it for a monster markup later, why wouldn’t I? That’s the point of all of this. It’s NOT to say that what happened in the Beta will happen live, Gavin even says that in the article. It’s just to say that this is going to create the same OPPORTUNITY for big gold.
But for all you naysayers out there I will be sure to keep an accurate track of my experience the first week on one server for this event just like I did for the Arena 4 opening.
We TOLD you that it was a big opportunity and I took 5,000 gold and turned it into 15,000 in less than a week before the market leveled out again when the event was over.
Now we’re TELLING you that here is an event that is never going to end, and will have another mini event in just 5 weeks when WotLK goes live and the market will spike again.
Inscription will ALWAYS be profitable, it’s just that if you are the first guy to the market and can set the market pricing, you will make HUGE amounts of gold compared to anything else you can do on any server of any type. Inscription makes more gold than any other profession on the beta and ptr, it will be exactly the same on the live realms.
To date, I have sunk about 7,000 gold into herbs on a live realm. I will be sure to make a full article (and try to avoid saying ‘I told you so’) about where that total lands at the end of week 1 or 2.
You really should trust the overall message Gavin is sending. He KNOWS how to make gold in big piles, and he’s telling you that he is going to make a huge pile of gold with this profession.
You should listen and stop niddling about the stupid details in the very minor differences and see what is going to be the same between both the non-live and live servers. He tried really hard not to give you too many lines to read between, but somehow there are always those people who find some hidden message and miss the whole point.
Good luck to you, and I just hope the rest of you will really listen and just follow Gavin’s lead - he’s never had you do anything that LOST you gold. And when he says this is the biggest and best opportunity you have ever seen to make a big pile of it in just a few days, you really, REALLY need to just say “ok, let’s do it!”
Wow… read more into what I was saying much? I know you can make tons of gold with inscription. When I brought my alchemist/herbalist over to the PTR, I dropped alchemy and picked up inscription. I’m currently sitting at 364 inscription and by not being overly greedy and selling the glyphs for between 20-30g each, I’ve gone from 266g (which is how much she had on her when she was copied) to 3200g… I picked up inscription 3 days ago.
So yes, tons of money can and WILL be made by folks who take Inscription. And Gavin is completely right. LOAD UP ON HERBS before the patch comes out. I found I ran out of mid-level herbs (kingsblood, khadgar’s whisker, goldthorn, etc.) quicker than the others. A couple circuits around STV, Arathi Highlands and Dustwallow Marsh and you should get all the herbs you need to be able to mill enough pigment to make the inks you need to level to 175 (to get to the next tier of herbs). Load up on Dreamfoil, sungrass and mountain silversage as well to get you to 300 and the master inscription person in HH.
Im looking to make a ton of money on my server through herbs and glyphs our herb market just crashed and i probably buy 40 stacks a day for less than 10 gold a stack, my server has caught the get rid of everything in your bank bug and I’m gonna profit from it like crazy, i hardly have enough room to store everything i have and am having to fill up mailboxes to keep all my surplus in preparation for this patch
Epic. I have Been Stocking up on herbs on all my chars.
my Warlock has all his bags filled.
all of them and most of his bank, im sharing a Guild between Alts so i can use the Guild Bank which i have filled with herbs also.
As i read this article, two things are crazily running through my mind:
1. I just started leveling a new warlock on a whole new server (changing from horde to alliance) to play with some other people i know. Using RAF with a buddy, we’ve started it a week ago and are lvl 50. Whenever he’s not on I’m scrounging up herbs, but im afraid, can i not make the big bucks unless i can shoot to 375 instantly? because if this patch hits too soon, i wont be 70 in time, and that will not be possible!
2. The killer would be if you have a whole in your stockpile. If im missing say a stack or two of level 30-40 herbs and can’t level up without farming/buying them, that will really slow me down/hurt my profit margin. So the point on that is, just a little more encouragement to put out that guide you keep talking about, remember, tuesday is 4 weeks before the xpac, (virtually) and that could be the release!!!(although i doubt it). Then again, no one believed me when i said the xpac would hit in early November, now did they o_O
luckily your 50 and can train to 375 in any skill . so you have hope yet!!
You guys should listen to his advice. Even with the extra gold everyone had, to hit 214k gold in a few days is staggering. If live prices are even 90% LESS he woulda still made 21k gold. I think even the more sucessful peeps in wow can rarely make/sell/farm more than 2 or 3ks worth of stuff a day.
I can remember when JCing was introduced. Everyone wanted gems and the 1 dood on server who got the good recipes 1st made an absolute killing for a few weeks. Inscriptions will be even crazier because everyone gets the slots! People seem to be saving up gold a lot more for wotlk than they did before release of TBC and you can bet a good chunk of all that gold is gonna be blown on overpriced inscriptions that first week or two.
Thankfully I followed the buy up all herbs advice the 1st time I read it here. Herbs in AH are now selling for at least 5 times their usual value…and its just the uber serious wannabe inscriptors who are buying em at the moment. Come patch day theres gonna be a buttload of people who will take up inscriptions but aint saved up anything and will indeed pay stupidly inflated prices.
I am also getting very excited.
Thanks again for all the pr0 tips DYS guys. Though I dont use every single tip you share, you have never shared anything which didnt make good sense.
Yuck - Rich Rogue of Nathrezim
ya, I remember when JC just start, copper ore (all ore actually) goes up to 20g/stack and the little tiger eye is so sweet to sell.
lightbringer my server seems to have alot of excess anchient lichen so i bought a ton of it for cheap and then transferred (50 stacks for 15g each) them to the ptr for a small test.
well i got 60 darkflame ink and well over 100 ethereal ink (sorry i forgot to count the pigments i just turned it into ink) but the proc rate was well over 50%.
just logged in today and man i sold every single glyph i had put in the ah im taking a screenshot now of my 7189 gold!! i started with 100g. so yes thanks DYS.
for those who want more detail information on “what make what”, wowhead and El’s Profession both have what you seek. But these info is based on beta, and not finiallize, so just stock what you can get now and wait for 3.0 patch to see what’s it really do.
We already got a head start then most people, we got sneak peek and what to do tips from Gavin, isn’t that’s why we are here at this post? There’s nothing bad if you stock with herb, Alc need them too, and more new player sure will join WoW and it will sell anyway.
I was wondering about how the discoverys work, I’ve been reading as much as I can about inscriptions, and very little info is out about discoverys.
Can you only get one per 20 hours with Minor Inscription Research, Or can I learn more than one minor per day, in addition to the Minor Inscription Research?
I know thare are 61 discoverable minor’s.
For all others reading this, there is a detailed list of all glyphs and mats at
http://www.elsprofessions.com/inscription
you have a chance to discover a new one every 20 hours when you use the minor inscription research and the major inscription research. however can we get clarification on if its a shared cool down or not, i haven’t made a scribe to find out yet
