It only becomes an argument if YOU turn it into one. Actually there are far more than 4 nodes for greater sagefish. Ren was merely mentioning that there are four that are pretty easy to farm.

The real point of the article is that Gavin and I spend very little time farming, it's just such a drag. So I have never really "farmed" much so I cannot speak definitively about how to get greater sagefish since I have never spent any time on that.

The bears are something you will come across quite a bit while leveling through the 50's, and so will everyone else. You don't have to go farm the bears since there will probably be a pretty good number of ah listing for the flanks since everyone in the 50's has to kill them as well.

The only way for anyone to get sagefish is to go farm them, and as such, the prices have a tendency to be pretty high compared to the bear flanks.

In all reality we appreciate how everyone adds information to our posts in the comments. Ren's comment expands on this topic instead of detracting from it. I personally hope Ren doesn't go start his own website because he is a regular poster here at DYS and often has some nice bits of information to add.

We've been getting quite a lot of this stuff lately and maybe everyone should think of DYS as more of a think tank than a PvP arena. Not every idea will be good, and not every comment will be something you agree with, but we're all on the same team - trying to help each other Dominate!

Yeah as much as i dont want to turn this in a argument 2 very importnant things need to be pointed out.
1) The point of this is to advertise the bear food not for You to undermine this great person who trys to inform us of new items that we might find useful. You want to go on about sagefish go make your own website.
2) 4 Nodes in an entire server does not constitute EASY to get. Bears live everywere and u can get exp and complete quests whilst getting the flanks as oppose to standing by a river all day fishing.

Personally i would like to say thank you Gavin for this great bit of info.

Actually, greater sagefish is actually pretty easy to get (easy not to be confused with enjoyably) if you know where to look. There are about 4 fishing spots on the STV river that are close together and are easy to reach even for a low level. The "nodes" respawn quickly so you can stay for as long you like.

My only beef (its bear meat you know!) with the bear flanks is that it would be difficult for a level 45 to defeat the monsters that drop it.

Great advice. Is there anywhere you can look to see any other new recipes that came out in the last patch? And are there any recipes out there for the low low levels that are different from the normal +stam etc..?
