Aidan - Not sure which class you are in that combination. Rogues and druids are “ok” together, hunters and druids are good together. Hunters and rogues are not good together. When creating a 3v3 team, you really want to get 3 classes that typically work well when broken down into 2v2. For instance, a mage and a rogue work well in 2v2, a priest and rogue work well too. A mage and a priest are decent in 2v2. Combining the 3 is what makes the “PMR” setup good in 3v3 because all work well together.

That being said, if you are a rogue, I’d find a mage/priest to hook up with or a priest/warlock. If you’re the hunter, a drain team will be best. MM Hunter+Lock+Disc Priest. The basic premise being that the hunter and lock DPS one target down while the priest mana burns the opposing team healer and then caster DPS. At the same time, the hunter viper stings need to be set up on a focus so they get sent to the opposing team healer as well as the locks mana drains. Deplete the other teams life source (mana) and win because you will have effectively removed their healer and possibly a DPS from the match.

Hi guys, i need the 1600 rating for the chest, i have enough points its just our 3v3 is stuck on around 1450-1500, The setup is a sub rogue, a full epic hunter and a resto druid (Very good healing) whats gone wrong?

with a hunter there is basically two styles of pvp, you can be a very effective drain team when paired with a disc priest, both of you are resistent to CC and have powerful mana drains, if you go drain you really have to be marks. or you can go burst with a ele shammy. My rogue/disc priest comp just could not beat this team, if you want this combo you really have to be BM. All classes have a cookie cutter spec/team role. Some classes like rogues can partner with almost anyone and be good, some classes like ele shammies are only good when paired with a BM hunter in 2’s and 5’s. Find what your best combo is and play that for a rating, you can use your other two teams to play with friends

I Currently play with Hughsnet and so PVP is almost not possible with my toons. Arena points was the easyiest was for my level 70 toons to get gear even if i had to buy a new team when my rating got to low. But Blizzard has made it now that I have to go to a motel or a friends house with high speed just to do arena so i can win so i can get gear. It sucks that with seven 70’s i have to farm primals and nethers to get epic gear. Farming gets old fast. Thanks for your tips Gavin makes farming a little easyier .

Hey i have BM hunter aswell, ive alrdy had 3 different 2v2 arena teams and 2 different 3v3 teams. Ive found that a BM hunter and a Shadow Priest work really well. but he quit cuz he didnt like the other Bm hunter in our team lol, i suck aswell my teams have never gotten over 1500, and i think thats wat u start out with lol

A BM would go best with another hunter or ele/enh shammy. The main problem with having a hunter burst team (I would go marks for hunter/healer) is after a point people are just going to LOS you or wait for your Buff to run out then demolish you.

Hey Glenno, i am a hunter and i pair with a rogue, not the best team in the world, however but it can get pretty good if you got a strategy we have made it to about 1600 rating so far as we arent the best people in arenas. h

These are good tips. What can you suggest for a BM hunter with vindicator gear items, and the remainder mainly blues (Beast Lord set)? I’ve never entered arena before, as I’m always too undergeared to be considered. Does this mean I should spend the 80g and make my own team?

hey feral druid and frost mage are good. lots of CC raw ap, can beat alot of teams if u guys are organised. and if u want to be good at arena make sure you study! understand your class and others go to arenajunkies.com and you’ll find how to beat certain comps and also talk alot during arena and out of it make sure you find out what went wrong and what you can do to prevent losing! also watch video’s on your classes from warcraftmovies.com and find some good players that play your class watch them study them mimic them. why? cause they are leet, get their leetness to rub off on you.
