the fire can only be honored or desecrated once

there is a guide on the best order to visit them somewhere, will have to ask lawbringer about it :P

and some information I didnt have before:

i went throguh and tested a couple on my other chars

On a level 62 character, you will gain 1 gold 40 silver + 5000 experience for "honoring" a friendly fire, and 2 gold 70 silver + 10050 experience for "desecrating" an enemy fire.
On a level 63 character, you will gain 1 gold 50 silver + 5250 experience for "honoring" a friendly fire, and 2 gold 90 silver + 10400 experience for "desecrating" an enemy fire.
On a level 68 character, you will gain 2 gold + 6000 experience for "honoring" a friendly fire, and 3 gold 90 silver + 12000 experience for "desecrating" an enemy fire.
On a level 69 character, you will gain 4 gold 10 silver + 12300 experience for "desecrating" an enemy fire.
On a level 70 character, you will gain 5 gold 95 silver for "honoring" a friendly fire, and 11 gold 99 silver for "desecrating" an enemy fire.

Great article ive leveled once visiting less than half the fires on my 54

Quick question though, are you able to re honor and re descreate fires after a certain amount of time?

Dave,

Yes there is some decent experience involved with all of the midsummer quests. At level 66 your buddy is in the perfect position to take maximum advantage of this.

Especially with you going along at level 70 it makes for the perfect setup. Gavin and I roll together quite a bit when we're questing. As a matter of fact I rarely ever quest solo.

This is great...I've been doing the quests as I come accress the flames, now my guildies and I can systematiclly go through the list and complete these.

Speaking of Guildies, how much XP do these quests give? We have a friend that is at 66 and if it only takes three hours to complete them all is it worth it for him to come along?

i appreciate this article but i've already done this on both my 70s within the first two days of the festival and yesterday on my friend's lvl 60 warrior (45s/90s per quest btw). i would like to point out that it's not desecrating the opposite faction's fire that gives you the buff but rather keeping your own lit. if yours goes out the buff goes away. toss a flower in to get it going again and the buff pops back up. also, on pve servers, desecrating an opposing fire will flag you. lastly, for rogues and druids trying to solo silvermoon city, the mechanical guards can see stealth fyi. they are avoidable but don't just run in there thinking you're safe.
