Well it also depends on the class too. Some classes do well in instances with pvp gear such as warlocks and mages.

i’ve seen the scythe drop, it was beautiful, but not really my kind of weapon, so never rolled. i did notice the cloaks have a more frequent drop rate, and none of the enchanters i downed him with were able to disenchant the cloaks. dunno if this is a glitch or intended, but there you have it.

mate, pvp gear is a completly different gear set you must understand.

there are stats on pvp gear which arnt found on pve gear resil, higher stam values, differnt sockets and bonuses on pvp gear, higher hit values large amoutns of mp5, lower stats but higher dmg/crit ap, more haste, etc.

a full season 3 player can easily win a 1v1 vs most people, but would do terribly in a raid becasue bosses are always set to 3 levels above your own for when it comes to dmg and hit calculations.

and i know that this, if its read more, will get some posts about what ive said, simply remeber that pvp and pve are 2 different aspects of the game.

OMG Minus points for using the phrase “Phat Lewt”… Just kidding. I love the new website look. It seems…. more sophisticated somehow.

Event bosses like Ahune are indeed sources for valuable items. For the Halloween event, you can still see people wearing the headless horseman drops. I think Blizzard is revamping a lot of their events so they are not just interesting but profitable. They added a money reward to Childrens week, exp and gold making opportunities for the Fire Festival and epic bosses (with epic loot) for Halloween and the Fire festival. If a player says anual events are pointless, they dont know how to play the game to its fullest.
