Alliance 1-70 in 5 Days 8 Hours
Posted on May 22nd, 2008 by Gavin under Alliance, Faster Leveling
I’ve been good friends with Glutony for quite awhile now… at least since early 2006. In that time, I’ve helped him go from being a complete and utter noob to one of the best players out there.
However, Glutony has one major character flaw: he plays Alliance. Oh well, nobody is perfect LOL
Glutony has recently broken what is believed to be the record for solo leveling a new character with no twinking, no cheating, and no rested xp. Granted, he plays Alliance, but when someone can level up to 70 in 5 days, 8 hours /played time, I’m going to sit up and take notice.
Glutony sent me a copy of his new Alliance leveling guide last week, and I’ve been checking it out for the past few days. The first thing that really stood out to me about his guide is that he doesn’t assume that you know where an NPC hangs out. Unlike guides of the past, he actually gives coordinates for everything and everywhere - just pop them into TomTom or Cartographer, and off you go.
Another really great addition to this guide is his options/settings/addons build out. He provides you with all the addons he uses, and what in-game settings he uses (auto loot on, fast quest text, etc), so even if you’re really new to the game, you can make sure all your ducks are in a row.
It also doesn’t matter which race you want to play - he’s got all of the Alliance starting areas in his guide, so you’re not forced to play a race you’re not interested in.
All of that is well and good, but what really stood out to me was his ingenious questing routes. I hardly ever play Alliance, but I do have a couple Alliance 70s, and I remember well the “standard” questing routes. His are pretty darn quick compared to the other guides out there (and his final /played time to 70 reflects that.)
If you’re in the market for an Alliance leveling guide, this is now the ONLY one I am recommending.
Just see for yourself…
Look, I can tell you how good Glutony’s Alliance Guide is until I’m blue in the face, but what really matters is what YOU think of it. You can pick up your copy in just minutes, and there’s absolutely no risk to you. Glutony told me “I don’t want anyone buying my guide and then regretting it, so I’m offering a FULL 8 week money-back guarantee to anyone who buys my guide and doesn’t absolutely LOVE it!”
So, get your hands on the absolute FASTEST Alliance 1-70 guide out there, at a very affordable price, with a 100% satisfaction, no-questions asked money-back guarantee. You simply cannot lose.
So, head on over to Glutony’s site and check it out - you’ll be glad you did!

I think its interesting that one could buy the guide, level about 10 characters to 70 assuming they got no sleep, and then refund the guide.
Hey Guys this is Bobby.
I keep reading these articles and think they are amazing!
I only have one problem…my only characters have ever been horde. I would like to try an alliance, and have been trying to get my hands on a leveling guide to help me out. but all these guides cost money, and i tell you this, IM STRIGHT OUT BROKE!.
I have no time to play as it is, and ive been dieing to level one up to 70 before the expansion comes out. After i hear about this guy hitting level 70 in 5 days 8 hours, and he published a guide! BUT THEN… it costs money and that bumms me out.Can anyone find me an alliance leveling guide that costs no cash at ALL? Id be really greatful.
Nice. Just remember us Horde characters who could really use this kind of guide
Dave,
If you’re a Hordie like me, just wait for a few weeks.. you’re going to poop your pants…

gofg,
That is true, but I’d guess that most people will see the long-term value and agree that it’s worth the price.

I’ve used two other leveling guides, both were excellent (I won’t name them out of respect for Glutony). I am interested in trying this one just to better my time. My personal best is just over 7 days, 4 hours on Vek server with a Human Mage.
Guys, the leveling guides are worth it just for the time they save. Granted, not everyone can throw down $30-$40 bucks, but for those that can, it is well worth it.
I put my order in an I’ll be back to let you know how it works.
I still can’t believe people buy leveling guides.
Eh, i’m just kinda against leveling guides. I’ve used them before, and when i finally decided to try a character without one, it was actually more fun. Sure, i memorized a lot of the good tips, but it was a lot slower. But who cares if you’re having more fun? Depends on who you are. If you detest leveling, and just want to do 70 stuff then fine, leveling guide to your hearts content. BUT leveling can in itself be fun, so i suggest to a lot of people to try to have FUN with WoW….because a lot of people forget that that’s what it’s about
lol sounds good but where can i download the 1-20 sample?
Hey this sounds good but i am still waiting for sum1 to publish a guide which mixes a fast play time with MASSIVE gold making strategies i am currently leveling a dwarf hunter myself and am on 1 day and a few hours for lvl 30 which is quite good for me but he already has 400g so i wonder if there was a guide that could recommend a way forward from there. in order to level fast to 70 nad make massive gold i mean i dont want to even stop for a few hours to grind for my epic mount at 60.
- NB, gavin could u please get some kinda total which would work out roughly how much it costs to level a character to 70 with key costs identified ;). thanx
It seems like the best thing to do because a noob will want to get to 70 as fast as possible but when u get there u have to grind money to pay for your mounts and stuff which you can only get with a main whos been sitting on sum gold for a while. but new server, i mean :S.
So why cant we combine a few guides and make the ultimate leveling guide thats fast and gold happy. which will ofc be ultimately cheaper in the end because your paying for ONE guide.
just a thought
MR BEAR
I think it is interesting how fast this guide can level you, my only question is will the average person be able to follow it and achieve a time somewhere around 7hrs?
Bobby,
try wowpro.com
i think its that anyway… full of guides, they wont be of as good quality, but theyve helped me out.
Guides for money n stuff too =]
Sorry my bad, its

Got it rong :p sorry for any confusion
:>
I only have one thing to say about speed leveling. Yes you get to 70 fast but the draw back is you do not get the good gear you get from BG’s and almost any regularly lvled 70 can out pvp you. So yea you hit 70 but when you go into a BG for the first 50 times you are gonna get spanked hard many times. I speak from exerience. I lvled a warlock to 70 and never did any BG’s now I won’t even take that toon into a bg because the armor and gear he has is nothing compared to anyone else. I learned the hard way that lvling is great but to play the toon in any BG’s after you need the armor you can only get from doing bg’s and gfetting xp points to purchase special bg gear. I have a druid same thing. lvl 70 no bg’s and sucks to try to do any bg. Have a 62 pally I have done BG’s right along and can hold my own to powning depending on how many twinks are there. I also played in the tournaments and did very well in all versions, 2v2,3v3,5v5 because the gear was all even. So yes your guides are great for power lvling but if you don’t get the XP from bg’s and gear from BG’s you have a 70 that can run around in regular areas powning but sucking in bgs and pvp.
I’ve seen faster levelers but to make a guide anout how to do it is cool
If you want a Horde leveling guide, Joanna’s is pretty good. I cant compare to it any others since I have not seen other Horde one’s but It helped me just the way I expected.
Trust me, it is WELL worth the price. I bought the guide long ago, and currently have 5 level 70s, thanks to Gavin & crew. And you don’t just get the guide, you keep getting more updates as time goes on with lots of great new information. To this day, I’m still using the guide, and working on my 6th lvl 70 ;p
Thanks Gavin!!
what about Jame’s levelling guide. Its free and ive been using it. Its GREAT. Just google it and the best thing is its 100% FREE
Bobby, one guide that i used to use when i was on the true evil side (Alliance) was “James’s Alliance Leveling Guide”. This was a free guide that i found online, not so sure if it’s still there, but it was pretty good.
-Rhye
no disrespect but this is the best free ally guide ive found

I agree, James leveling guides are great. If i wanna get a toon to 70 quick, I use James guides, because they are 100% FREE. Good on ya James. Why pay for something if you can get something just as good for FREE ! !

i personally have leveled horde characters 1 - 70 in uner that time, without help, affli warlock FTW
Hang on a sec, this guide included a bit about how to find, apply and get into good guilds. The article I wrote for the compo here was about helping new raiders how to get into good guilds etc. I’d be interested to see if Gluttony’s is similar to mine and whether it’s a coincidence or not.
I have 4 lvl 70’s and used a guide on only 1 of them. The new Quest add is 100x easier
ok,. feel free to throw your rocks
