On my server I list the six different healing books daily. Most days all six books sell and net me about a 41 gold profit per day. I only list one set of the books a day to not over load the market.

My server (Gul'dan) just unlocked the badge vender for the Sunwell area. Guess what happened? Gems went up shortly, then normalized. Most of the items only have one or two gem slots and the items cost a lot of badges, so there was a brief explosion in market prices. However, Large Prismatic Shards moved to anywhere between 45G and 62G each, while Void Crystals were selling at 30G each. Patch 2.4.2 (unofficial notes) will remove the cooldown for Void Shatter, potentially causing a sharp uptick in Void Crystals and a corresponding drop in LPS's.

Great advice from you as always, Gavin

on my server (stormreaver) theres a similar situation like with the one handed axes for shamans but this is more a permanent thing. every person that has played a class that can use leather for example a rogue or a druid cant where a leather head piece till lv 28 i think it is. so all the lv 28 rogues or druids go to the AH to by a head piece now that there lv 28 and can use one but on my server there like 25-35g a piece because because people know some lv 28 wants a head piece to increase its stats and give its self more armor i just think its ridiculous for them to be priced that high. oh there like this up till lv 36 when u get into the LW head pieces which r cheaper because its not a drop

but i thought it was great info

Enchanting makes a killing, I'll agree, especially DEing weapons from the early 50's to produce greater eternal essences that range from 6 - 11 gold each, depending on the server. This is the lvl area you see the biggest spike in AH prices for dust and essences.
(On Dalaran anyway..)
